Pas vraiment notre sujet habituel, mais je tiens a faire de la pub pour la sortie d'une double-double compilation rétrospective de Eels, le fameux groupe tournant autour de la personnalité alambiqué de son fondateur : Mark Oliver Everett (aka E).
La première compilation "Meet The Eels Essential Eels Vol.1 1996 - 2006", classique, permet de (re)découvrir tous les titres indispensable depuis "Novocaine For The Soul" à "Troubles With Dreams" en passant par "Mr. E's Beautiful Blues".Accompagné des 12 vidéos du groupe, l'ensemble forme plus qu'une bonne introduction a l'univers de cette formation originaire de Los Angeles.
